These are the rambles of the friends and employees (hopefully those aren’t exclusive categories) of McNally Jackson Books, your favorite independent bookstore in Manhattan. We’ll be posting things about our store — events, contests, general news, but more often than not this is to be a space for ramblings, reveries and scorn about books and the literary life. A good bookstore (and we aren’t so humble that we wouldn’t include ourselves among these) is not just a place to buy books, but a place to love them, and we hope some of that spirit will find its way here.
